Job summary

Kianxia Logistics is seeking a Stock Controller to manage inventory accuracy at our Sunderland SR3 3XG facility. You will oversee stock movements, perform cycle counts and ensure precise data entry within our warehouse management system.

The role requires 1–2 years in stock control, strong Excel skills, and excellent numerical and communication abilities to liaise with internal teams and drivers. Full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Blue Yonder WMS (JDA/RedPrairie)
• 1–2 years in stock controller/inventory roles
• Strong understanding of stock control methodologies
• Proficiency with Excel and WMS systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory control using Blue Yonder WMS
• Conduct stock takes, audits and cycle counts for accuracy

• Collaborate with warehouse ops, transport planners and dispatch teams
• Maintain pick locations, stock profiling and space utilization
• Generate daily/weekly stock reports for management

About the Role

Kianxia Logistics is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our operational team at our SR3 3XG facility. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, managing stock movements, performing cycle counts, and ensuring accurate data entry within our warehouse management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily inventory control procedures using Blue Yonder (JDA) software.
• Conduct regular stock takes, audits, and cycle counts to maintain real-time system accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, variances, mispicks, and damaged goods.
• Monitor inbound and outbound goods receipts, ensuring paperwork and physical counts match.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, transport planners, and dispatch teams to maintain smooth stock flow.
• Maintain optimal pick locations, stock profiling, and warehouse space utilization.
• Generate daily/weekly stock reporting for operational management.

Required Experience & Skills

• Software: Hands-on experience using Blue Yonder (JDA/RedPrairie) WMS is essential.
• Background: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, or similar logistics/warehouse role.
• Strong understanding of stock control methodologies, stock counts, and discrepancy investigations.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general WMS systems.
• Excellent numerical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, drivers, and management.
