Job summary

Uniserve, based in Tilbury, is seeking an Export Seafreight Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. You will manage FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final destination, coordinating with lines, customs and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

In this role you’ll handle export documentation, monitor schedules and support cost control, with opportunities for professional growth through our Supply Chain Academy and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven FCL Ocean Export experience.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Effective communicator across all levels.
• Knowledge of FCL Export and Bills of Lading.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final destination.
• Liaise with shipping lines, customs and clients to schedule and track shipments.
• Prepare and review export documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Customs Entry forms.
• Monitor vessel schedules and notify clients of status and delivery dates.
• Arrange inland transportation and handle billing/cost reconciliation.

Key Duties:

• Coordinate and manage FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery destination.
• Liaise with shipping lines,customs and clients to schedule and track shipments.
• Prepare and review export documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Customs Entry forms.
• Monitor vessel schedules, shipment arrivals, and notify clients of shipment status and expected delivery dates.
• Arrange inland transportation via carrier haulage
• Handle billing and cost reconciliation related to export shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation in company systems.
