Job summary

Gi Group UK in Southampton is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to manage stock levels and coordinate with Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Planning and Sales. The role is based in Southampton, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00, paying £13.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a requirement to hold a Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence.

Focus will be on stock checks, accurate data recording, and collaboration with Warehouse teams to ensure proper stock

Qualifications

• Previous stock control experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence and full UK driving licence.
• Experience using ERP and MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor stock levels
• Complete stock checks and record data accurately
• Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams
• Ensure stock is rotated correctly and efficiently

Stock Controller - Southampton SO14

Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (40 hours per week)

£13.00 per hour (must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence)

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to join a well-established company in Southampton.

The Stock Controller will liaise directly with Production (stock level enquiries), Logistics, Purchasing, Planning and Sales.

A Counterbalance FLT licence and a driving licence are required.
