Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Stock & Systems Supervisor for the Markham Vale site in the UK. The role is full-time and rotates between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £33,351 per annum.

You will support stock control processes, ensure KPI targets are met, and drive continuous improvement across the stock and admin teams. The successful candidate will supervise stock control, contribute to training, and help maintain stock integrity and safety standards, with travel

Responsibilities

• Assist the Inventory Stock & Systems Manager in day-to-day stock operations.
• Resolve stock and system issues and supervise Stock & Admin staff.
• Feedback on team and individual performance and training needs.
• Lead on training and coaching for stock team and admin staff.
• Manage attendance and ensure adequate cover.
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards.
• Depute for Inventory Manager when required.
• Supervise track & trace, recalls and QA tasks.
• Schedule daily, weekly and monthly stock counts.
• Coordinate with Managers and Operations for smooth flow of operations.
• Maintain systems configuration and participate in customer meetings.

Job Description

Our Markham Vale site are now recruiting for a Stock & Systems Supervisor to join their friendly team on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £33,351 per annum.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating.

As a Stock & Systems Supervisor you will facilitate in day-to-day processes within the supervision of the department. You will ensure that all stock control team KPI targets are met or exceeded and involved in continuous improvement. Supervising Stock Control department to ensure stock integrity and compliance are being delivered to the highest standard.

Key Duties of a Stock & Systems Supervisor:

• To assist the Inventory Stock & Systems Manager in the day to day running of the Stock department.
• Resolving stock & system and stock issues.
• Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the Stock & Admin staff.
• To feedback on team and individual performance, including behavioural issues, highlighting good performance.
• To offer suggestions and assist in the organisation of training and development for the stock team Stock and Admin staff, including on-the-job coaching.
• To assist the Stock Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence and take appropriate action to ensure cover, and contribute to reductions of unacceptable levels.
• To take part in maintaining high Health & Safety levels.
• To deputise for the Inventory Manager when required.
• To supervise and contribute to track & trace requests, product recall and quality assurance.
• Monitoring and scheduling daily, weekly & monthly stock counts checks.
• To stay in communication with other Managers/Supervisors and Operational Team ensuring smooth flow of operations.
• To be involved in maintaining systems configuration.
• To travel and take part in monthly meetings with customers.

Qualifications

• Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
• Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
• Able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of on-site systems and processes.
• An organised and focused approach to all administrative duties.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• PC Literate on intermediate level (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated.
• Strong interpersonal, conciliation skills and the capacity to network with suppliers and customers.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems would be seen as an advantage.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role and good knowledge of stock control is required.
