Job summary

The Lanesborough in London is seeking a dedicated Steward to uphold the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards across back-of-house areas. You will work closely with the F&B teams to support service delivery, maintain tidy workspaces, and ensure adherence to COSHH and health and safety rules.

A meticulous, team-oriented attitude and the ability to handle manual handling tasks are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or stewarding role within a luxury hotel or high-end environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Manual Handling regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Immaculate grooming standards and excellent personal hygiene.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-focused mindset.
• Please note this role involves manual handling and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• As a Steward, you will support day-to-day operations of our Food & Beverage teams by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organization across all back-of-house areas.
• You will be hands-on, proactive and a strong team player, maintaining clean and well-organised workspaces while supporting service delivery across the hotel.
• You will take pride in maintaining impeccable standards, working collaboratively with kitchen and restaurant teams, and ensuring all procedures and health & safety standards are adhered to at all times.
