Job summary

Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The position focuses on caring for and maintaining all surgical instrumentation and setting up supplies for surgery cases in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with orthopedic cases is preferred; 1–2 years in sterile processing is advantageous. Strong teamwork, communication, and record-keeping skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a sterile processing certification program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers and OR instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Care for and maintain all surgical instrumentation.
• Set up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Prepare reports and keep records; adapt to changing patient conditions.

Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Full Time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Westminster Surgery Center is a fast paced environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties preferred: Orthopedics

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians

Pay Range: Min: $20.58 to Max: $28.42/hour

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
