Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Full-Time Sterile Processing Tech for Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role focuses on maintaining and preparing surgical instruments and supplies for multispecialty procedures in a patient-centered environment.

Full-Time Sterile Processing Tech

Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center delivers high-quality, service-focused surgical care in a patient-centered environment where 'healthcare is better together.' This physician-owned facility, accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, features 4 ORs and 4 treatment rooms supporting multispecialty procedures including Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Urology, ENT, Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Vascular.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
  • Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers
  • Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
