United Surgical Partners International Westminster Surgery Center in Westminster, CA is seeking a PRN Pre-Op PACU Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The RN provides perioperative care using the nursing process and the medical plan of care.

This role requires 1–3 years of PreOP/PACU experience, state RN licensure, and current BLS/ALS/PALS. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' PreOP/PACU experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Excellent team player with communication skills.

Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PRN Pre-OP PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. Westminster Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience forpatients and their families.

Job Summary

The PRN Pre-op/PACU Nurse is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Pay range- Min: $40.90 - Max: $50.00/hour

(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
