Job summary

Oxford International in Belfast seeks a Programme Lead STEM to provide academic leadership for designated programmes, ensure quality and continuous improvement, and support student engagement and progression.

The post holder will oversee curriculum, assessment, and staff development, while delivering teaching to maintain leadership capacity. Strong collaboration with Centre leadership and partner university is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM discipline (or equivalent).
• Postgraduate qualification in Computing and Engineering is desirable.
• A recognised HE teaching qualification is desirable.
• Advance HE Fellowship or willingness to work towards it is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day academic leadership for designated programmes and coordinate the programme team.
• Ensure curricula and assessments meet standards and support student progression.
• Lead module evaluation and contribute to curriculum enhancement.
• Deliver up to 15 hours per week of high-quality teaching alongside leadership duties.
• Collaborate with partner university and internal teams to maintain quality assurance.
