Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Loughborough is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established client on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support contract and project teams with commercial and financial management, monitor costs, value contracts, and mitigate commercial risk in the rail division. The ideal candidate has NEC/JCT experience and CSCS is preferred. A UK driving licence is required.

• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Solid understanding of financial and commercial controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide QS support to Contract and Project Managers and manage valuations and variations.
• Assist with development and application of contract programmes.
• Ensure timely completion of information for final accounts and commercial reporting.
• Monitor costs, cost value reconciliations, and identify anomalies.
• Liaise with clients, professional teams and purchasing to support commercial requirements.
