Job summary
Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an experienced Steel Erector / Cladder to join our client’s team. You will erect steel-framed buildings, install cladding systems and read construction drawings on agricultural and industrial projects.
The role requires proven experience in steel erection or cladding, a full driving licence, and willingness to travel. Overtime paid after 40 hours; travel in company vehicle provided; training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in steel erection and/or cladding.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and working at height.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Erect steel-framed buildings on site.
- Install composite, single-skin and built-up cladding systems with flashings.
- Install precast panels where required.
- Read and work from construction drawings.
- Carry out plant and equipment checks.
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager on progress and safety.
- Maintain high quality and meet timescales.
- Follow Health & Safety rules and site procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, safe and tidy.
- Operate site plant and access equipment with training.
- Assist with other duties as required.
