Job summary

AJ Engineering & Construction Services in Scotland is seeking skilled Steel Erectors/Cladders to join our construction team in Forres. The role covers safe installation of structural steelwork and external cladding systems, requires working at height, reading technical drawings, and delivering quality workmanship.

You will support crane lifts, install steel frameworks, read site plans, and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in steel erection or cladding installation.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Experience working at height and following site health & safety procedures.
CSCS card and full UK driving licence desirable or essential.

Responsibilities

Install and erect structural steel frameworks, beams, columns, and bracing systems.
Install roof and wall cladding systems and associated weatherproofing.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
Adhere to site health and safety procedures and use access equipment safely.
Work with the site team to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards.
