Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking experienced Steel Erectors / Cladders to join their team, working on agricultural and industrial projects across the South West. Location: Crediton, Devon.

Successful candidates will have proven experience erecting steel-framed buildings and installing cladding to a high standard, with a strong emphasis on health & safety and ability to read construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in steel erection and/or cladding.
• Self-motivated, reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, manual handling and working at height.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Desirable: CSCS, IPAF, SMSTS, First Aid and/or Telehandler qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Erect steel-framed buildings
• Install composite, single-skin and built-up cladding systems, including flashings and associated items
• Install precast panels
• Read and work from construction drawings
• Carry out plant and equipment checks
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding work, progress and site safety
• Maintain high standards of quality and complete work within agreed timescales
• Follow all Health & Safety requirements and site procedures
• Keep work areas clean, safe and tidy
• Safely operate site plant and access equipment with relevant training provided
• Assist with other duties as required

Key Duties:

• Erect steel-framed buildings
