Job summary

IVC Evidensia is seeking a Statutory Reporting Accountant to coordinate the UK statutory reporting process, including ETBs, year‑end financial statements and audit support, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 101 and Companies Act requirements.

You will collaborate with Financial Controllers, Group Finance, Tax, Legal, Company Secretary and external auditors to improve balance sheet integrity, standardise reporting in Workiva and deliver timely filings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements for multiple entities.
• Experience in working with international teams / businesses.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/FRS 101/UK GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements for all UK entities, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 101 and Companies Act requirements.
• Own the preparation and review of Extended Trial Balances (ETBs), ensuring all statutory and audit adjustments are reflected.
• Lead governance and improvements of Workiva to drive efficiency and standardisation across statutory reporting.
• Provide timely, accurate information to external auditors to facilitate audit reviews of ETBs and statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate with tax providers to ensure tax balances are reflected in ETBs and statutory statements.
• Work with Company Secretary to ensure timely filing of statutory statements with Companies House.
• Drive improvements in balance sheet integrity and robust supporting documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance reporting quality, efficiency and scalability across finance.
