Job summary

Aspire Software in the United Kingdom is seeking a Statutory Reporting & Compliance Manager. You will own timely, audit-ready statutory reporting for all legal entities and oversee group statutory filings. You will coordinate audits, IFRS conversions, and policy setting while working outside portfolio reporting lines to protect deadlines.

The role reports to Head of Finance and focuses on compliance, policies, and tax interface, ensuring accurate governance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent.
• 7+ years in statutory reporting; 3+ years in Big Four/mid-tier audits.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions in statutory reporting.
• Track record of running multiple audits to fixed deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or oversee statutory financial statements for all entities under local GAAP.
• Own the group statutory and filing calendar and deadlines.
• Manage local accounting and filing providers where entities are serviced externally.
• Plan and lead statutory audits end to end: timetable, PBC lists, files.
• Act as primary contact for statutory auditors and coordinate support.
• Deliver IFRS conversions and respond to IFRS reporting requests.
• Set group accounting policies and position papers in collaboration with HQ.
