Job overview

The Statutory and Mandatory Training Team at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Statutory & Mandatory Training Co-ordinator to support a significant period of change and development within the Trust's statutory and mandatory training provision.

Whilst this role includes the coordination and administration of statutory and mandatory training activity, we are specifically looking for an individual who already possesses substantial experience of NHS statutory and mandatory training, ESR and Oracle Learning Management (OLM) administration. The successful candidate will be expected to use this specialist knowledge from day one, supporting the maintenance of training compliance, administration of learning records, implementation of national learning requirements and the ongoing development of ESR and learning management processes.

Working closely with the Statutory & Mandatory Training Lead, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the Trust's transition to the forthcoming National Mandatory Skills Framework, managing complex learning administration processes, supporting compliance reporting and providing expert guidance to staff and managers on statutory and mandatory training requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with existing NHS workforce learning, ESR OLM

Main duties of the job

Provide specialist administrative support for the Trust's statutory and mandatory training function, ensuring training records, compliance data and learning assignments are accurately maintained within ESR and Oracle Learning Management (OLM).

Lead on the administration and maintenance of statutory and mandatory learning profiles, competencies, learning assignments, events and attendance records, supporting the implementation of national and local training requirements.

Support the Trust's implementation of the forthcoming National Mandatory Skills Framework, including reviewing, updating and validating ESR learning profiles, compliance reports and associated training records.

Produce and analyse statutory and mandatory training compliance reports, identify data quality issues, investigate discrepancies and support services to improve compliance performance.

Act as a subject matter resource for ESR OLM, statutory and mandatory training administration and learning record management, providing guidance and support to managers, staff and colleagues.

Support the ongoing development of ESR OLM processes by working with colleagues to review current practices, simplify administrative procedures, share specialist knowledge, and implement improvements that enhance service efficiency and improve the end-user experience for staff and managers across the Trust.
