Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking Static Multi-Skilled Engineers for a commercial site in Manchester. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, servicing building services, and fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.

The role covers electrical and mechanical disciplines with a focus on site efficiency, safety, and compliance. Monday–Friday hours and opportunities for overtime are included.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above.
• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates.
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled building services experience.
• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Maintain, service and fault-find on building services plant and equipment within your discipline.
• Electrical: lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution maintenance and fault-finding.
• Mechanical: maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs and related plant.
• Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance where required.
• Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.
• Complete routine plant and equipment checks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Liaise with clients, site contacts and contractors.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.

Static Multi-Skilled Engineers – Commercial Site – Manchester – Up to £47,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for Static Multi-Skilled Engineers, with Electrical and Mechanical disciplines to cover a static site in Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who wants a static role dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Maintain, service and fault-find on building services plant and equipment within your discipline.
• Electrical: maintenance, testing, fault-finding and minor installation works, including lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution.
• Mechanical: maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, pressurisation units and associated plant.
• Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance where required.
• Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.
• Complete routine plant and equipment checks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and contractors.
• Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant Health & Safety procedures.
• Electrician - up to £45k
• Mechanical Engineer - up to £47k
• Salary up to £47,000 per annum (dependant on discipline)
• Monday to Friday – 08:00–17:00
• Call-out rota – details to be confirmed
