Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a commercial building in Salford Quays and Trafford, with time split between sites. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance alongside the on-site team, ensuring electrical systems run safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will hold City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, have experience in commercial maintenance and possess good communication skills for client liaison.

• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Salford Quays – up to £40,000

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Salford Quays and Trafford (time will be split between the 2 sites). He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £40,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday – 08:00 - 16:30

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Monitor and maintain electrical plant and equipment
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Lighting – changing lamps, ballasts and fittings
• Emergency lighting testing and repairs
• Small power and socket repairs
• Basic BMS monitoring
• Carry out electrical checks and inspections
• General building fabric duties
• Escort specialist subcontractors
• Assist with other general building maintenance duties as required

Requirements

• Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above (Essential)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
