Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static commercial site in Trafford Park, Manchester. The role is permanent and Monday–Friday.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across building services in a modern commercial environment, with a strong package and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Engineer / Electrician required.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or FM environment.
• Ability to carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance jobs and breakdowns.
• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Carry out electrical remedial works.
• Support minor electrical installations and small works.
• Complete general electrical maintenance across the site.
• Complete maintenance records and job documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
• Liaise with site management, contractors and the wider engineering team.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Salary: £43,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday
Contract: Permanent, Static Site

The Role

We’re recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing M&E / Facilities Management provider on a static commercial site in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This is a permanent Monday-Friday position carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a modern commercial building services environment.

The role would suit a qualified Electrical Engineer with previous FM or commercial maintenance experience who is looking for a stable, site-based position with a strong package and long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical systems

• Respond to reactive maintenance jobs and breakdowns

• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs

• Maintain lighting and emergency lighting systems

• Carry out electrical remedial works

• Support minor electrical installations and small works

• Complete general electrical maintenance across the site

• Complete maintenance records and job documentation

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

• Liaise with site management, contractors and the wider engineering team

• Support general building services maintenance where required

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Electrical Engineer / Electrician

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or Facilities Management

• Strong electrical fault-finding ability

• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance

• Comfortable working within a client-facing commercial environment

• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of an on-site engineering team

Package

• £43,000 basic salary
