Ser- in Manchester is seeking a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy commercial building services team. The role focuses on delivering essential electrical maintenance for a multi-story office block in central Manchester, on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 electrical qualifications with the 18th Edition and ideally AM2, and be comfortable on a static site with no vehicle provision. A strong mechanical background is a plus.

Position: Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Central Manchester

Duration: Permanent

Salary: up to £42,000 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in Commercial building services maintenance.

This engineer will be working in a multi-story office block in the centre of Manchester.

The right person for this position will already have a strong commercial maintenance background. They need to be holding full Electrical qualifications (city and guilds/ nvq) and 18th Edition. We would like this engineer to have completed a full apprenticeship and have their AM2.

This role is based on a static site, so there is no vehicle or parking.

Requirements

• Strong Commercial Electrical Maintenance background
• Based in a commutable distance to central Manchester
• Must be a qualified electrical engineer (city and guilds/nvq level 3)
• Must have 18th Edition
• It is preferred that this person has the AM2 certification
• Happy to work on a static site
• Some mechanical experience would be a major advantage
