Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a static site in Kettering. The role offers a stable Monday–Friday days pattern with a salary of £40,000–£42,000 plus overtime, standby and excellent benefits.

You will join a leading facilities management team, carrying out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across a large distribution centre, ensuring safety, compliance and smooth operation.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation OR Level 2/3 Electrical qualification.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with major and minor maintenance activities.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are available, serviceable and fit for purpose.
• Accurately complete all relevant maintenance documentation and paperwork.
• Provide support across other sites within the cluster when required.
• Work closely with client and company colleagues to maintain high standards of quality and service.
• Ensure work is completed in line with KPIs, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Keep the Mercury CAFM system fully updated with accurate, live job information.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong working relationships with colleagues and the client.

? The Role

Working as part of a professional engineering team within a large distribution centre, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational.

?? Key Responsibilities
