Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a static site in Kettering. The role offers Monday–Friday days, a strong salary (£40,000–£42,000) with overtime, standby and excellent benefits, plus clear career progression within a leading facilities management environment.

The ideal candidate will have commercial/industrial electrical maintenance experience, up-to-date electrical qualifications and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or Level 2/3 Electrical qualification.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Professional approach with excellent customer and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with major and minor maintenance activities.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are available, serviceable and fit for purpose.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation and paperwork.
• Provide support across other sites within the cluster when required.
• Work closely with client and company colleagues to maintain high standards of quality and service.
• Ensure work complies with KPIs, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Keep the Mercury CAFM system fully updated with live information.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong client relationships.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the world's leading Facilities Management companies, working on a prestigious and high-profile static site in Kettering.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrician looking for a stable Monday-Friday days role, with excellent earning potential, career progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role

Working as part of a professional engineering team within a large distribution centre, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.

You'll play an important role in ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with both major and minor maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation OR Level 2/3 Electrical qualification
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A professional approach with excellent customer and communication skills
