Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Static Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer for a large commercial estate in Denmark Hill, South East London. You will join an on-site team of engineers delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the site, with comprehensive handover and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• F-Gas certification required and NVQ qualifications.
• Proven HVAC / Building Services experience.
• Stable employment history in HVAC, FM or Building Services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs, FCUs).
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs for reliable operation.
• Perform routine inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning and system testing.

FM Service Provider – Commercial Estate – Denmark Hill, South East London - Up to £50,000 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Static Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to work on a large, well-established commercial estate in Denmark Hill, South East London.

You’ll be part of a dedicated on-site engineering team of 8 engineers, working collaboratively to deliver a high standard of planned and reactive maintenance across the site. The team is experienced, supportive, and well-structured, ensuring you receive a thorough handover and ongoing support with the plant, systems, and site procedures. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs, and FCUs
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
• Perform routine inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning, and system testing
• Ensure all works comply with F-Gas regulations and industry standards
• Respond promptly and professionally to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Accurately complete maintenance records, job sheets, and reports
• Work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth site operations
• Identify system improvements and recommend upgrades where appropriate

Package:

• Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (40 hours)
• Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
• Overtime: Available

Requirements:

• Valid and up-to-date F-Gas certification and relevant NVQ qualifications
• Proven experience within an HVAC / Building Services environment
• Stable employment history within HVAC, FM, or Building Services
• Strong technical knowledge of a broad range of air conditioning systems
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and paperwork
• Professional, client-focused approach with strong communication skills
• Positive, proactive attitude with flexibility in approach to problem-solving
