Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Startups Applied AI team. You will partner with Account Executives to design Claude-based architectures, guide early-stage startups from discovery to deployment, and win technical evaluations by translating requirements into robust AI solutions.

You’ll speak the language of builders, help design evals, and collaborate with product and engineering to maximize Claude’s value for startups globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer.
• Experience with startups or high-growth tech companies.
• Strong builder credibility as a software engineer or technical founder.
• Deep technical proficiency in building and scaling AI products and LLM architectures.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered applications.
• Excellent technical communication translating AI concepts for founders/engineers.
• Track record selling technical products in competitive markets.
• Proficiency in Python and common LLM frameworks and integration patterns.
• Passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Win technical evaluations and help startups develop evaluation frameworks for Claude.
• Build credibility with founders and startup engineers through architecture guidance.
• Gather insights on startup use cases and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Travel to customer sites, startup events, and industry conferences for workshops and deep dives.
