Anthropic’s Startups team seeks an Applied AI Architect to partner with founders and engineers, helping startups build on the Claude Developer Platform as they grow from early product to scale.

You will translate startup requirements into technical solutions, guide evaluations, and design architectures that maximize Claude’s value. Hands-on experience with LLM-powered apps and strong technical communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder with founder-led sales
• Deep technical proficiency with building and scaling AI products and AI engineering best practices
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production, with context engineering and evaluation frameworks

Responsibilities

• Win the trust of founders and engineers by being an exceptional technical partner
• Help startups architect innovative LLM solutions and maximize Claude's value
• Guide startups from initial technical discovery through deployment and beyond
• Translate startup requirements into technical solutions and serve as a trusted technical advisor
• Win technical evaluations by developing evaluation frameworks for Claude-based use cases
• Build credibility with founders and startup engineers by speaking their language
• Gather insights on startup use cases and deployment patterns for feedback to product teams
• Travel to customer sites, startup events, and conferences for workshops and deep dives
