Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Startups Applied AI team. You will partner with founders and engineers, helping startups build on the Claude Developer Platform as they scale from MVP to production.

You will combine deep AI expertise with a builder mindset to design architectures, run evals, and maximize Claude's value. You will collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to guide startups from discovery through deployment and expansion, leveraging frameworks

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or founder-led sales
• Experience with startups or high-growth tech companies
• Strong builder credibility as software engineer or technical founder
• Deep technical proficiency in building and scaling AI products and architectures
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications in production

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Win technical evaluations and help startups develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance
• Build credibility with founders and startup engineers through architecture guidance
• Gather insights on startup use cases and deployment patterns and feedback to Product/Engineering
• Travel to customer sites and industry events for workshops and relationship building
