Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Startups Applied AI team to partner with founders and engineers, guiding them in building on the Claude Developer Platform. You will bridge technical discovery and deployment, helping startups succeed from early product to scale.

You’ll work with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to shape architectures, develop evals, and maximise Claude value for diverse use cases on production-grade AI systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or founder with founder-led sales.
• Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies; understands velocity and constraints of early-stage firms.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production; familiarity with context engineering and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong builder credibility with engineers/founding teams and ability to earn trust of technical founders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Win technical evaluations and help startups develop evals to measure Claude's performance.
• Architect technical solutions and guide startup engineering teams in Claude adoption and deployment.
• Gather insights on Claude usage, identify new use cases, and provide feedback to Product/Engineering teams.
• Travel to customer sites and industry events for workshops and relationship building.
