Zusammenfassung

The Oxford Street Development Corporation (OSDC) is building its finance function from the ground up. We seek a capable Financial Controller to design and implement financial systems, controls and reporting processes for a high-performing public sector organisation in London.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead financial management and control across OSDC, ensuring governance, accurate reporting and stewardship of public funds.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified CCAB accountant with strong experience in financial management, reporting and control.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk and audit requirements.
• Ability to provide clear advice to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead financial accounting activities, including preparation of statutory accounts and disclosures.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accurate records.
• Maintain robust financial controls, accounting policies and governance arrangements.
• Lead external audit activity and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Provide technical accounting advice to senior leaders and Board members on reporting matters.
• Support accounting treatment and due diligence of major transactions and funding arrangements.
