Job summary

Oxford Street Development Corporation (OSDC) seeks an outstanding Financial Controller to design and implement financial systems, controls and governance from the ground up, ensuring strong stewardship of public funds.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead financial management, accounting policy, and reporting for major transactions and funding arrangements, in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified CCAB or equivalent accountant; strong public sector finance experience.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Strong governance, risk and audit knowledge.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders clearly.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting including statutory accounts and disclosures.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance.
• Lead external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to leadership and Board.
• Support due diligence of major transactions and funding.
