Job summary

Pdsluk is seeking a Controls and Controls Systems Engineer for a 6-month on-site assignment in Wolverhampton. You will develop and implement control standards for manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety and seamless IT integration. Proficiency with Siemens S7 PLCs and robotics programming (KUKA, ABB, FANUC) is essential.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain standards, troubleshoot issues, and support machinery safety compliance in a dynamic automotive manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Job description

Join our client at the forefront of automotive manufacturing as a Controls and Controls Systems Engineer based in Wolverhampton. This 6-month on-site opportunity offers an exciting chance to work within Electric & Propulsion Manufacturing Centre, supporting innovative production processes.

In this role, you will be pivotal in developing, updating, and implementing control standards for manufacturing equipment, ensuring machinery safety and seamless integration with IT solutions. Your expertise in Siemens PLCs, especially S7-1500 or S7-1200, along with robotic programming (KUKA, ABB, FANUC), will be key to success. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, maintaining standards, trouble-shooting complex issues, and supporting safety compliance in a vibrant manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have extensive PLC experience, Siemens training, robotics knowledge, and a strong grasp of machinery safety legislation including ISO 13849 and IEC 62061.
