Job summary

Liberty Recruitment Group is exclusively partnering with a fast-growing start-up to recruit an experienced Standalone HR Manager who will own the HR function. This hands-on role involves building and shaping HR processes from the ground up, working closely with founders and the Head of HR, in a rapidly evolving environment.

The position is permanent and hybrid, based in Fareham with at least one day in the office.

Qualifications

• Broad HR generalist experience, standalone or small team.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Proactive, pragmatic and well-organised with good communication.
• Willing to shape policies and processes for scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function and advise employees, managers and senior leaders.
• Build compliant HR policies, processes and systems.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice on people matters.
• Support workforce planning across the UK, US and Australia.
• Drive engagement, culture and benefits using HR data to guide decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR operations for future growth.
