Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Swadlincote is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Tank Builder / Sheet Metal Worker to join our established engineering and manufacturing team.

You will fabricate tanks, vessels and related components from engineering drawings, TIG weld stainless steel (MIG an asset), and ensure a high-quality hygienic finish while meeting production deadlines. This temp-to-perm role offers long-term opportunity for a skilled fabricator with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Time-served sheet metal worker with experience in stainless steel tanks.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel.
• Experience with rolling, forming and assembling sheet metal.
• Experience with hygienic or process equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate stainless steel tanks and vessels from drawings.
• Measure, mark out, cut, roll and form sheet and plate.
• Roll material to required diameters up to 4mm thick.
• TIG weld stainless steel; MIG experience is advantageous.
• Dress welds, polish and finish components to hygienic standard.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
