Job summary

Arm is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Solutions Software team within the CE-SW group. You will lead a team delivering complex software for cloud and data center products, providing technical direction from pre-silicon through production readiness.

You’ll work across SoC, firmware and system software, collaborating with hardware, software and architecture teams, and help scale engineering capability while staying hands-on.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex system software within the embedded or infrastructure SoC space.
• Experience leading and developing engineers, with strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of low-level systems, including bootloaders, device drivers, OS fundamentals (Linux), and computer architecture.
• Strong background in C (or a similar language) programming, with proven skills in debugging and optimising software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical direction, coaching and line management while remaining hands-on.
• Drive the team’s technical execution across SoC, firmware and system software from pre-silicon through silicon bring-up and production readiness.
• Drive engineering planning and execution, translating requirements into technical tasks, estimates and deliverables for the team.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, architecture and other engineering teams to manage dependencies, resolve technical issues and deliver high-quality software.
