Job summary

Arm in the United Kingdom is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Infrastructure Solutions Software team within the CE-SW group. You will provide technical direction, contribute hands-on coding, and grow a team delivering complex software for cloud and data center products.

You will oversee SoC, firmware and system software from pre-silicon through bring-up to production, collaborate across hardware, software and architecture, and drive delivery with strong leadership and

Qualifications

Experience delivering complex system software in the embedded or infrastructure SoC space.
Experience leading engineers with strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of low-level systems, bootloaders, device drivers, OS fundamentals (Linux), and computer architecture.
Strong background in C programming with debugging and optimization skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical direction, coaching and line management while remaining hands-on.
Drive the team’s technical execution across SoC, firmware and system software from pre-silicon through silicon bring-up and production readiness.
Drive engineering planning and execution, translating requirements into technical tasks, estimates and deliverables for the team.
Collaborate across hardware, software, architecture and other engineering teams to manage dependencies and deliver high-quality software.
