Job summary

Arm Limited is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Infrastructure Solutions Software team in the CE-SW group. You will provide technical direction to the team and lead engineers delivering complex software for cloud and data center products, spanning SoC, firmware and system software.

This role combines hands-on coding with people leadership and strategic planning, enabling delivery across hardware and software domains and helping scale infrastructure software to production readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering complex system software in embedded or infrastructure SoC space.
• Experience leading and developing engineers with strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of low-level systems including bootloaders, device drivers, OS fundamentals (Linux preferred), and computer architecture.
• Strong background in CProgramming with debugging and optimizing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical direction, coaching and line management while remaining hands-on.
• Drive the team’s technical execution across SoC, firmware and system software from pre-silicon through silicon bring-up and production readiness.
• Drive engineering planning and execution, translating requirements into technical tasks, estimates and deliverables for the team.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, architecture and other engineering teams to manage dependencies, resolve technical issues and deliver high-quality software.
