Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience leading complex products or platforms.
• Experience building platform or technically complex products; comms/messaging helpful.
• Strong product judgment turning ambiguity into strategy and actionable roadmaps.
• Technical fluency; comfortable partnering with Engineering on architecture, reliability, scalability.
• Track record taking products beyond launch and driving adoption across teams.
• Strong cross‑functional influence to align teams with different priorities.
• Analytical and business judgment weighing customer impact, cost, risk.
• Clear written and verbal communication to simplify complex topics.
• Customer‑first mindset focused on platform‑level experiences.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and adapting as you learn.

Responsibilities

• Set product strategy and roadmap for Comms Platform, aligning customer needs with business priorities.
• Modernize comms infrastructure and build shared capabilities for consistency across transactional and marketing comms.
• Lead complex platform initiatives from strategy through launch and adoption.
• Build relationships across affirm to ensure comms needs are understood and prioritized in platform plans.
• Shape channel, platform, and partner strategy including build‑versus‑buy decisions.
• Balance customer experience, reliability, scalability, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Define success metrics and use signals to guide priorities and investment.
