Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend and frontend work for an international engineering team in a remote-first UK setup.

You will contribute to direct-to-consumer products used across the UK and other markets, with ownership of key features and scalable architecture. Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale (Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes).
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue.
• Ability to use AI to enhance daily delivery of high-quality products.
• Ability to define technical plans for large features with simple, extensible designs.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product management, design and analytics during ideation and decisions.
• Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology or business issues.
