Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is seeking an Oncology Staff Nurse to join our caring team. This role focuses on patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments, ensuring safe, personalised care.

You will be registered with the NMC, bring post-registration experience, and work in a supportive environment that values high standards and patient wellbeing. Part-time, weekdays only, 15 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Chemotherapy experience and SACT course are essential.
• Registered with the NMC and up to date with practice standards.
• You are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• As Oncology Staff Nurse, you will be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic.
• Fully assess each patient’s needs and provide tailored treatment plans.
• Assist consultants during clinics and monitor patient conditions.

As an Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As an Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:

• Have chemotherapy experience and SACT course is essential.
• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service.
• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy.
• Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care.
• Assist consultants during clinics.
• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.
