Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is seeking a part-time Oncology Staff Nurse to join its consultant- and nurse-led service. The role requires chemotherapy experience and an SACT course, with responsibilities across patient assessment, tailored care plans, and support during clinics.

You will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality patient care, with a commitment to professional development and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC).
• Post-registration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemotherapy care and assess patient needs with tailored plans.
• Assist consultants during clinics and support patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments (e.g., immunotherapy).
• Work within a team to promote high standards of patient care.

You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. As an Oncology Staff Nurse, you will: Have chemotherapy experience and SACT course is essential. Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service. Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy. Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care. Assist consultants during clinics. Assessing and monitoring patient conditions. Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.
