Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is seeking an Oncology Staff Nurse to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis, weekdays only. The role requires chemotherapy experience and an SACT course, with NMC registration and post-registration oncology exposure preferred.

You will provide tailored care to patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, support consultants in clinics, and work as a cohesive member of the oncology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualificações

• NMC registered nurse with current practicing status.
• Chemotherapy experience and SACT course are essential.
• Post-registration experience in oncology is preferred.
• Demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Provide chemotherapy care and monitoring for oncology patients.
• Assist consultants during clinics and ensure accurate documentation.

£37,777.50 per annum pro rata depending on experience

You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As an Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:

• Have chemotherapy experience and SACT course is essential.
• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service.
• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy.
• Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care.
• Assist consultants during clinics.
• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.
