Job summary

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital in the UK is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology for our bank (part-time) pool. You will be registered with the NMC with post-registration experience, mentoring skills, and multi-specialty surgical knowledge.

Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology Brighton Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Part Time Up to £26.00 per hour depending on experience Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. As a Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology at our Brighton Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.

As a Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology, you will:

• Have a completed UKONS SACT passport.
• Be proficient in cannulation and venepuncture and able to access CVAD's.
• Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring.
• Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be.
• Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient's needs.
• Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students.
• Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training.
