An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the neurology team at Ward 53, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Ward 53 is part of a regional service for western Scotland, offering a 5-day investigatory service for neurological conditions, including a bespoke video telemetry suite for seizure diagnosis and treatment planning.
The ward has 16 beds, 12 treatment chairs for therapies like NIV, immunoglobulins, and complex infusions, in addition to two 5-bed areas, 3 VT rooms, 3 single rooms, and a 12-chair day case area. Most patients are outpatients attending treatments or tests in the morning.
You should demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care, professional development, and understanding of our services, with flexibility and a willingness to contribute to service growth.
