Job summary

Active Care Group in Glasgow is seeking a Staff Nurse for our Murdostoun service in North Lanarkshire. You will provide nursing input, conduct assessments, and support a neurorehabilitation pathway for residents over 16 with brain injuries and neurological conditions.

The role requires an NMC PIN (RGN), UK work rights, and experience with tracheostomy care. You will work in a multidisciplinary team with rotating day/night shifts and comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current NMC PIN registration (RGN) is required.
• Legal right to work in the UK is required.
• Up-to-date experience/knowledge of tracheostomy care is essential.
• Experience in a neurorehabilitation setting is essential.
• Experience working within a MDT is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing input through assessments and care planning.
• Contribute to MDT working, risk assessment management and clinical improvement programmes.
• Provide written nursing reports for statutory and clinical review processes.
• Maintain documentation to a high standard and ensure patient notes are filed appropriately.
• Act as named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients and support their outcomes.
• Take charge of a designated clinical area.
• Adopt a flexible approach to hours to meet service needs over 24 hours.
