Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Staff Nurse for Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre in North Lanarkshire. You will provide nursing input through assessments and care planning, adhere to the NMC Code, and work as a named nurse within the MDT to support patient outcomes.

• A current NMC Pin registration (RGN).
• Legal right to work in the U.K.
• Up-to-date experience with Tracheostomy care.
• Experience with neuro conditions and neurorehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing input through assessments and care planning.
• Contribute to MDT working, risk assessment and clinical improvements.
• Prepare nursing reports for statutory and clinical reviews.
• Act as named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients.

We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.We'd like you to join us as a Staff Nurse at our service Murdostoun in North Lanarkshire.At Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, we offer rehabilitation, care and support to people over the age of 16 years with a brain injury or other neurological condition, helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.What you'll be working:37.625 Hours ( Rotational Dayshift & Nightshift )What you'll be doing:Responsible for the nursing input residents receive, through nursing assessments and care planning.Contributing towards MDT working, risk assessment management and a programme of on-going clinical improvement.Providing written nursing reports for a range of statutory and clinical review processes.Work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients.Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes.To ensure a comprehensive assessment is completed for the patients/residents/clients to ensure a comprehensive person-centered assessment is completed for their pathway and care plan.Take charge of a designated clinical area.Ensure all clinical documentation is of a high standard and patient notes are maintained and filed in the appropriate way.Provide a highly specialised range of clinical interventions and knowledge of evidence based models of practice relevant to the patients’/residents’ needs.Working autonomously with confidence and competence to provide a highly specialised and safe service to the patient.Adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.What you'll have:A current NMC Pin registration (RGN)A Legal right to work in the U.K.Up to date experience/knowledge of Tracheostomy care essentialUp to date experience/knowledge in management of neuro conditions essentialExperience of working within a neurorehabilitation settingWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
