An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse based at HMP Kilmarnock.
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Registered Adult Nurse to contribute and deliver a comprehensive Primary Care Service within HMP Kilmarnock.
You will work as part of an extensive multidisciplinary team within the Health Centre in HMP Kilmarnock in partnership with the General Practitioners, Mental Health and Addiction Service. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to caring for patients, many of whom have often suffered significant trauma, within a secure environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate current thinking in relation to both Primary and Emergency Care and a willingness to respond positively to change. The successive candidate must innovative, enthusiastic and flexible and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
You will possess Registered Adult Nurse qualification and currently be registered with the NMC. Applicants require to be educated to a minimum of degree level or demonstrate relevant clinical experience.
37 hours per week.
