An exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent, full time Band 5 staff nurses within the acute ward of Campbeltown Community Hospital.
The ward has 15 beds and cares for acute admissions with medical input provided by GPs.
The Band 5 staff nurse role involves the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality, evidence based, person centred care.
You must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to stay well-organised while prioritising tasks efficiently.
This is an opportunity to become part of a team which is responsive to the needs of the population and dedicated to providing the best possible care to the people of Kintyre.
There will be opportunities to develop your skills and experience in other areas such as unscheduled care, advanced assessment and palliative care.

Outdoor pursuits are readily available and there are great cycling and surfing conditions on the doorstep. The islands of Islay, Gigha, Arran and Jura are easily accessible.
These posts are for nurses due to complete their nursing studies and be assigned a PIN in 2025, opportunities exist in the community nursing service as well as inpatient.
A driving licence is required for community posts.
