Job summary

Dex partners with a dynamic teambuilding the CRM for the AI era, focusing on real-time infrastructure and AI-native architecture. The role is 80% hands-on engineering and 20% leadership, ideal for Staff Engineers ready to mentor a small team for the first time.

You will own a product area end-to-end, drive architecture evolution for scale, and influence decisions through customer conversations and technical insight.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern typed languages (Go / TS) and backend or frontend expertise.
• Previous Tech Lead or Staff Engineer role driving multi-engineer projects.
• Experience designing secure, scalable backend systems on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Ability to take on line management responsibilities: hiring and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend or frontend development in your chosen stack.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of 3–5 engineers.
• Own a product area end-to-end from concept to delivery.
• Evolve architecture to support scale and AI-native features.
• Shape product decisions through customer conversations and technical insight.
