Job summary

SoSafe is seeking a Staff Engineer to push automation and AI-native capabilities across a fast-growing security awareness platform. You’ll architect, build, and scale an AI-enabled toolchain while mentoring multiple teams and shaping IT operations as code across the organization.

Ideal candidates combine hands-on coding with a systems-thinking mindset, delivering robust, production-grade automation and guiding non-technical stakeholders through complex technical concepts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating at a Staff Engineer level in a cloud-native SaaS environment.
• Hands-on builder and systems thinker with practical coding involvement.
• Track record of AI-native adoption moving workflows from experiments to production.

Responsibilities

• Architect and iterate a toolchain blending traditional automation with AI-driven design.
• Mentor and enable early adopter teams to extract value from the platform.
• Standardise practices and scale the platform across departments.
• Drive the evolution of IT operations towards an as-code infrastructure model.
• Contribute to the IT/Sec Operating System in a move to build-not-buy teams.
• Mentor and level up the IT engineering team and other departments.
• Champion automation and AI platforms to drive cross-departmental adoption.
