Job summary

Beamery is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to set the data platform's technical direction. This is Beamery's most senior individual contributor role in data engineering, owning the multi‑quarter architecture and guiding decisions that shape how data is stored, processed, and consumed across the company.

You will collaborate with EPD leadership and partner teams to design scalable analytics, AI data layers, and data contracts, while building reliability, observability, and trust into every data

Qualifications

• Experience building and running data platforms for internal and external consumers.
• Strong focus on data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time and batch processing.
• Ability to make architectural decisions with multi-tenant systems and scale.
• Track record of cross-team collaboration with engineers, platform teams, and data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform's long-term architecture and multi-quarter vision.
• Define standards and patterns that scale beyond the team, including data contracts and governance.
• Drive reliability, observability, and data quality across the platform.
