Job summary

As a Staff Engineer you will set development direction and provide technical assurance on complex IT initiatives, while mentoring peers and shaping new programs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in native Android development (Kotlin and Java).
• Accessibility best practice is required.
• CI/CD experience.
• Experience with generative AI tools and techniques to enhance development and productivity.
• Experience with Kotlin Multi Platform (KMP).
• TDD and pair programming experience.
• Agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• REST API development and/or consumption.
• Deep understanding of MVVM and MVP.
• Significant experience leading teams or technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android apps within a cross-functional Agile team.
• Collaborate with Android and iOS engineers, BAs, QA, designers and UX specialists on customer-facing projects.
• Provide technical direction and assurance on complex IT initiatives as a Staff Engineer.
• Support shaping of new projects and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
